WITH LIONEL

WITH LIONEL

In memories of childhood’s glee,
I recall a friend, dear LionEL, with me,
Carrying me on your sturdy back,
Oh, the adventures we did not lack.

Through fields, joyous we would roam,
With every step, my heart would find home,
Your mighty mane, a golden crown,
Together, we’d conquer the world’s renown.

From dawn till dusk, we’d forge our way,
Unleashing our dreams, come what may,
You’d gallop swiftly, fearless to the core,
And on your back, I felt like I could soar.

In secret passages, we’d sneak and peek,
Exploring enchanted realms, daring and unique,
We’d chase butterflies as they danced on the breeze,
Lost in a wonderland, whispers of ancient trees.

With laughter bubbling, we’d splash in a stream,
Holding hands under the sunbeam’s gleam,
You’d roar with glee as I laughed aloud,
In those moments, my worries were shroud.

Oh, precious LionEL, my trusted mate,
Those childhood memories, I shall never uncreate,
You carried not only my body, but my fears,
And through your strength, you wiped away my tears.

Now, grown I am, those days have passed,
Yet, their imprint forever shall last,
For the bond we shared, deep and true,
Will forever be cherished, LionEL, in you.

So, here’s to the childhood dreams we rode,
Upon your back, in memories bestowed,
Though time and distance may now divide,
In my heart’s realm, you forever reside.
