I’D LOVE TO SLAP MY ENEMIES

I’d love to slap all my enemies,
Watch their egos crumble to debris.
But instead, I’ll take a different stance,
And rise above their shallow dance.

For slapping back won’t bring me peace,
It only allows the anger to increase.
So I’ll choose to be the bigger soul,
And let kindness become my ultimate goal.

I’ll spread my wings and soar up high,
Leaving behind the petty fights, oh my!
For vengeance will only weigh me down,
While forgiveness will help me wear the crown.

I’ll build my kingdom with love and grace,
With empathy I’ll leave my enemies in chase.
For understanding can mend all gaps,
And turn foes into lifelong pals, perhaps.

So rather than slapping, I’ll extend my hand,
And hope they too can finally understand.
That unity is stronger than any force,
And love is the remedy for any remorse.

Let’s break the cycle of hate and pain,
And let compassion be our guiding reign.
No longer will slaps define our story,
But forgiveness and peace shall claim the glory.
